Treats, anyone?

Being in Love is like everything bad and good about you two smooshed into pieces of candy inside a bowl and put on a pedestal. You never know exactly what you’re going to get, but you keep reaching inside for more.

“What happens when the bowl runs out?”

I don’t know. I haven’t fallen out of love yet.

“But I thought love was supposed to be good and wonderful and all that.”

You can try to put the best of you out there but that may not be what the other person will get out of it. You see, it’s not about loving the candy you could get; it’s about loving the bowl with everything inside it.
